The Lamplight is a Wine Bar, Wine Retail  Store, with a fine food restaurant 12 Guest Rooms added to our offering in 2019.

The ambient surroundings in our Wine Terrace Bar is lit up with Cool playlists and is lit up with Live Music throughout the year. 

 

Our interiors are a blend of Continental old world charm with the earth of Connemara in the surroundings, with local Fine Art in house. 

 

We seek to combine 20 years of wine industry experience and teaching with our passion for food and time honoured hospitality to bring a special experience to locals and visitors alike.

 

The Lamplight Wine Classes commenced in December 2019 , and we are pretty excited to roll out monthly evening themed tastings and classes in 2020.

 

For anyone who wants to experience a different,  informative and fun night out, watch this space.

The Lamplight Wine Bar is an enchanting establishment where locals and visitors gather. 

 

We offer a very distinct  and exciting selection of wines for sale. We also provide Professional wine classes and consultancy. In our wine bar , we pour organic wine on tap .

We open daily specials , by the glass, from our wine store. 

 

local cheese boards and select meat boards as well as hot small plates are served 

using fresh & seasonal ingredients. Expert advice is on hand in our wine bar & store,  in a relaxed and captivating environment. We have rooms. Room only or with breakfast.

 

10 guest rooms upstairs make the Lamplight a perfect venue for a romantic weekend getaway, a family or class re union or birthday party.

Our eclectic Wine selection is focused on handcrafted wines based on sustainable, organic and biodynamic philosophies. Wine has become so diverse in the past decades that we offer an exciting tour around the world, from iconic regions like Burgundy, Piedmont or Rioja to  emerging regions like Central Otago in New Zealand, Oregon, to Tenerife and  Mallorca.
